Many from the Kootenays know Yvonne from her amazing face painting which appears on the children of all ages at many of the festivals. Take the time to check out some of her other work. This is a sampling of her many artistic talents.
It is with pleasure we feature Eliza. Here is a person that is very involved in the arts scene in Kaslo and is the new curator of the Langham Gallery, Congratulations Eliza. She is a fine mixed media artist who is worth checking out, and also presents works of her great grandfather, Roger Fry.
Jim Lawrence is a long time resident of Cooper Creek and has been treating us to some facinating wildlife and nature photography. In Jim's words "The quest to explore the infinite fascinations of nature is shared by many of us. Here in the Kootenays we all have wildlife stories to tell. These stories gain universal significance as human behavior increases pressure on the fragile natural world". Check him out.

Richard is one of those Canadian Artists that you want everyone to see. A long time resident of Argenta, BC he paints some of the most interesting images. We are so happy to have Richard showing on our gallery and encourage you to check out his gallery page.

Deb is well known for her activities as an artist in the kootenays and a welcomed contributor to this gallery. She has spent all her life surrounded by artists and the arts, and currently works in chalk pastel.
Rena is a graduate of the Visual Arts Program at Red Deer College. Her medium has been charcoal and conte bringing us amazing images of aspens and willows. Enjoy browsing her page, we do.
This week our featured artist is Christine Ann Yallop. Her inspiration has been the realms of dreams, visions, spirit and imagination. She enjoys painting whatever forms seem to appear on the canvas, keeping a certain theme in mind. Her influences are many, surrealism, native and spiritual art are the most influential in style and subject matter. It it truly a pleasure having Christine with us.
I am proud to show Phyllis Margolin as one of our artists. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, raised in Stouffville Ontario. Lived taught painted in the USA for 30 years - Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, St. Louis, Missouri. Currently lives in Argenta, BC. Phyllis has her pieces in the Nelson Gallery, Kansas City permanent collection. National Gallery, Ottawa permanent collection, private collections in England, Scotland, Hawaii, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Florence, Italy and across Canada and the USA.
